Our Foster-to-Adopt program is designed for individuals or families who are seriously considering adoption but want to ensure the dog is the right match before making a lifelong commitment.

This program is ideal if:

You're interested in adopting but want to get to know the dog first to see if you're truly compatible.

You want to foster a dog with the intention to adopt and would like priority adoption rights for the dog, once you've passed the adoption interview and home inspection.

Foster-to-Adopt Process

We will request photos of your home to ensure a good fit.

Important Notes for Fosters

💰 Adoption Fee & Refund Policy

To join the Foster-to-Adopt program, the full adoption fee must be paid upfront.If you decide not to adopt, the full adoption fee will be 100% refunded.This policy ensures that potential adopters are financially prepared and are thoughtfully considering the commitment of adoption.

⏱️ Decision Timeline & Commitment

You must decide whether to adopt the dog within 3 weeks of starting the foster-to-adopt period.If you choose not to adopt, you will be required to continue fostering the dog until a new adopter or foster home is found.This ensures the dog has stability and does not go through unnecessary transitions.

🛒 Foster Responsibilities

As a foster (including foster-to-adopt participants), you are responsible for providing:• Dog food• Basic supplies (bowls, training pads, bedding, etc.)

🏥 Health Checkups

Before arriving in Canada, every dog is fully vetted in Korea, including:• Vaccinations• Heartworm test• Flea and tick prevention• Spay/neuter surgery• Dental checkupIf you wish to conduct additional health checkups in Canada before finalizing adoption, these costs will be your responsibility.

Adult Dogs

Local Currency

Adult dogs and neutralized puppies under 8 years old.

A $300 deposit is due when signing the adoption agreement to reserve the flight spot and dog.

Intact Puppies

$850

Local Currency

Fee includes a spay/neuter reimbursement of $150.

A $300 deposit is due when signing the adoption agreement to reserve the flight spot and dog.

Senior Dogs

$650

Local Currency

Dogs over 8 years old.

A $300 deposit is due when signing the adoption agreement to reserve the flight spot and dog.

Adoption Congratulations Gift: Crate, Martingale collar, leash, and SmartTag

Gifts may vary or be omitted depending on the situation.
