Hi, I’m Chopa! I’m a 3-year-old terrier mix girl with a soft white and brown coat. I weigh about 11kg (24lb), and I was rescued from the Gwangju city shelter just before I was scheduled for euthanasia. It was a scary time, but I held on—and now I’m hoping to find a warm, loving home where I can finally rest easy.

 

🐕My Personality🐕
I’m naturally sweet and gentle, and I really love people. I warm up quickly, especially if you offer me a treat! I’ll come close for pets and lean into your hands. I even do well with kids—humans of all sizes make me feel special. Sometimes I get startled or nervous and might try to run if I feel uncomfortable, but I’m not a biter or growler. I just need a little patience. I also let people pick me up, although I get a bit squirmy when I’m unsure.

 

🐕Social Skills🐶
I get along well with other dogs. I like greeting everyone, even if I don’t always want to play. I’m polite and calm around them. I haven’t had any close encounters with cats, so I’m not sure how I’d react—but I’m generally not the reactive type. I even do okay with men and children. I’ve been told I’m a sweet and balanced little lady.

 

🔋Energy and Activities🎲
My energy level is pretty mellow. I enjoy walks and time outside, but I’m not one of those dogs that bounces off the walls. I walk at my own pace, although I sometimes pull a bit when I get excited about a direction I want to go. After some outdoor time, I’m totally happy curling up for a nap or lounging around next to my favorite human.

 

🎲Training and Habits⭐
I’m quiet and easygoing—I rarely bark. I’m also crate-trained and do well when I’m in my kennel. I go potty both outside and on pee pads, so I can adjust to whatever routine my new family prefers. I’m good with food and treats, too—I don’t guard or get fussy. The only thing I’m not a fan of is bath time. I tend to panic and try to escape, but I’m working on being brave!

I’d do best in a calm, loving home where I can feel safe. I bond closely with my person and will follow you around like a little shadow once I know I’m loved.
